>Round 2 of Wednesday Hodgepodge at “From This Side of the Pond“!

1. What is the most amazing weather you’ve ever seen?

Hm…we had a really bad hail storm a few weeks ago. I’m talking golf ball sized hail, strong winds, and flood waters. But that was “amazing” like, wow, I’ve never seen weather like that in Arizona.

Amazingly good weather to me is a crisp fall day when you are bundled up, but still feel the cold on your cheeks and nose ; )

2. What is a sound or noise you love?

I love all of my little girl’s squeaks, squawks, and giggles. I also really love the sound of the ocean and rain.

3. Do you like seafood? What’s your favorite seafood dish?

I do enjoy me some good seafood. It’s a toss up between king crab legs dipped in melted butter and
and any kind of seasoned grilled salmon. My love for seafood is actually somewhat new. I had never even tried fish or seafood until I met my husband and he introduced me to it.

4. What part of your day requires the most patience?

If work is slow, it takes a lot of patience to sit there all day while thinking about the 100 other things I could be doing instead that would actually be productive in my life. So that is hard sometimes.

5. What’s your favorite shade of blue?

I am obsessed with blue lately. I’ve just begun decorating our master bedroom (it only took 4 and a half years) and I am using all kinds of vintage and antique blues. I really like this one (BLUE)

6. Do people underestimate you?

I think a lot of times they do, but it’s kind of my fault. I tend to be shy to start off with and I also tend to keep a lot of things to myself. I’m definitely not one to just put everything out there all at once. So, since I don’t always give people a chance to know the real me, they tend to underestimate who I am.

Also, I’m only 5ft tall and I look even younger than my 25 years, which doesn’t help me at all in the working world. I get treated a little younger sometimes and it’s a little disappointing.

7. When was the last time you had butterflies in your stomach?

Every time I come home from work and see my husband, I get butterflies. I am just so excited to see him. I’m being completely honest : )

8. Insert your own random thought here, and remember…I have a wooden spoon and I’m not afraid to use it.

I really want to decorate my house for Christmas because I’m already in that Christmas-y spirit, but I’m being strong and holding off until after Thanksgiving!
